After weeks of wondering when New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski would return to the field, the mystery has ended as he made his debut last Sunday against the New York Jets. He had a respectable week, catching eight passes for 114 yards but he has said he looks forward to doing more this week against the Miami Dolphins. Gronk has also admitted he’s still a work in progress  but off the field, some may say he’s back to 100 percent.

Well, he’s at least healthy enough to host his inaugural “Citi Football 101 Women’s Clinic” on Monday, Nov. 11. Yes, Gronk is giving back by educating women in this three-hour evening event held at Harvard Stadium. For $99, attendees will receive the following, according to

  • Learn from and Interact with Rob Gronkowski
  • A Limited Edition Rob Gronkowski Football 101 Women’s Clinic T-Shirt
  • Exclusive Clinic Team Photo with Rob
  • Authentic Rob Gronkowski Autograph
  • Coffee and dessert following clinic
  • Opportunity to Participate in Contests and Win Prizes
  • A  Fun and Educational Experience

The educational aspect of the evening will include “various stations, specializing in fundamental skills of football.” There will be small individual groups to assure maximum instruction from Boston’s top local football coaches. The ladies will also participate through Football 101, games and skill contests.

Gronk’s participation will include talks about the “finer points of the game of football and beyond such as how to dance topless.” He will also talk about the current season and hold a question and answer session.

Sound intriguing?

Here’s possibly the best part: the cocktail aspect. There’s cocktail hour before the pre-workout which will include beer, wine and “Gronk-tinis”–all available for purchase. Now the special ingredients of this drink are unknown and really anyone’s guess. Then after the sessions, there’s coffee and dessert.

You can’t help but wonder how much coveted one-on-one time there will be with the Gronk.

If this isn’t your thing, there’s other opportunities to meet the player. The tight end will be hosting other events during the Patriots’ bye week. On Sunday Nov. 10, first he’s holding a Citi Rob Gronkowsi Football Camp at Medfield High School for those kids in grades 1-8. Then in the evening, join Gronk for three hours and watch the Dallas Cowboys vs. the New Orleans Saints in Sunday Night Football at An Evening with Rob Gronkowski.

Held at the Bar Louie in Patriots Place, the player will be taking pictures, signing autographs, and talking with his guests for the low price of $87.

While some questions may linger regarding Gronk’s ability on the field, there aren’t any regarding his interest in having fun.

Welcome back Gronk!
